October Land Use Meeting

We have two items on the agenda for Land Use which will be held via Zoom at 7 pm (link below).

307 14th Street- V-26-152 Variance Application

The owner of this commercial property is looking to reduce the required rear transitional yard setback from 20 feet to 5 feet. Per city of Atlanta zoning code, commercial properties that abut to a residential property must have a 20 foot transitional yard between properties to mitigate the commercial effect on the residential property.

Tactical Urbanism Project @ GT

This Georgia Tech registered student organization will be presenting plans for a curb extension and potential parklet project at the intersection of McMillan St NW and Hemphill Ave NW, as seen below. They are looking for community feedback and support. Read more about ATL DOT’s Tactical Urbanism program.
