Houses of Worship
There are several houses of worship located right inside of Home Park itself. See more general Atlanta guides for worship opportunities outside of our borders.
Al-Farooq Masjid
Al-Farooq Masjid was established in 1980 as a religious institution devoted to the service of the international Muslim community of greater Atlanta and the southeastern United States of America. At the time it was one of a few mosques in the southeastern United States. Since then, it has also served the community at large by promoting goodwill and understanding about Islam and represents a vibrant community from all walks of life that strives to serve Islam. Today, our main mosque is one of nearly 35 in the metro-Atlanta area.
Midtown Community Church
Midtown Community Church is located at 1095 State Street. We are a fairly new church in the Home Park area with a passion for God and this community. At the core, we are a family of people from diverse backgrounds who have embraced Jesus Christ and His amazing offer of rescue and relationship. We meet together on Sunday evenings to explore the Bible, celebrate the Lord with music, and share in the lives of others who are pursuing the heart of God. Join us Sunday nights at 6:45
Tenth Street United Methodist Church
Tenth Street United Methodist Church is located in the Home Park community, at the northern rim of the Georgia Tech campus at 425 Tenth Street. We are strategically positioned to serve downtown Atlanta. Together we are a "downhome, downtown family". Everyone is welcome home to Tenth Street. Worship service times can be found on our website and Sunday morning services begin at 11:00 am.
